The Prairie City Grand Prix Motorcycle Race will kick-off round 1 of the 2010 AMA District 36 Hare scramble series and the SNA Motorcycle Race Team will be ready to race.
The Classic PCGP event will be hosted by the “Polka Dot’s Motorcycle Club” at the Prairie City OHV Park in Northern California. Prairie City is located just east of Sacramento in the low Sierra Nevada foothills and if you’ve never been there this time of year… be prepared for incredible racing and cold muddy conditions. Due to the unpredictable January weather this classic Hare Scramble race is usually cold and very muddy but remember it’s “not” Golf it’s outdoor motorcycle racing!!!
Prairie City OHV was dredged out years ago from the Gold Rush mining era which created a challenging landscape of slippery round river rocks, dirt mounds, creek gullies, mud holes, hill climbs and scary drop offs. The mix of challenging terrain and cold January weather always adds a bit of excitement not only for the racers but for the spectators, so whether you plan on racing or attending the race as a spectator plan on exciting classic outdoor motorcycle racing!!!

I can’t believe it’s less than a month away. I’m excited for team SNA this year and our group of talented racers. We’ve got some great quality companies backing us and I know our guys will take care of business. Can’t wait. Hope to see lots of SNA members at this one.

So the PCGP is this weekend and the start of the AMA District 36 2010 season looks to be a wet one. No dust! It’s gonna be great! The SNA Race team is ready to rock (literally) and are looking forward to taking on whatever the Polka Dots MC club throws at them.
