Ultimate High Sierra Adventure 5-Days
ULTIMATE HIGH SIERRA ADVENTURE RIDE 5-Days
Ultimate High Sierra Adventure explores 1,000 miles of the wild and scenic High Sierra. This 4-day 3-night camping adventure ride is designed for medium (650cc) to large (1200cc) dual-sport adventure motorcycles with the perfect combination of curvy roads, wild and scenic mountain passes, and off-road adventure!
The first day explores curvy roads on the western side of the Sierra Nevada to Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park. You will travel through a Giant Sequoia forest and you will be amazed by the sight of the largest tree in the world. You will also have the opportunity to take a short ¼ mile hike to the summit Moro Rock at 6,725 ft. Moro Rock is a massive granite dome that provides a panoramic view of the Great Western Divide and the Kaweah River Canyon.
On the second day travels a spectacular mountain route with nearly 150 miles of continuous twisty curvy mountain roads from the Great Western Divide to a remote mountain pass with a summit at 9,200 ft. This remote summit provides a spectacular panoramic view of the Kern River Canyon, and the Kern Plateau including the western side of Mt. Whitney 14,494 ft. You will also have the opportunity to explore off-road fossil falls at the base of the magnificent eastern Sierra Nevada.
The third day explores off-road through the spectacular rock formations known as the Alabama Hills with dramatic panoramic views of the Eastern Sierra and Mt Whitney. This adventure continues to explore off-road to the Ancient Bristlecone Pine forest where you will view the oldest living trees on earth. You will also explore off-road to over 11,500 ft. which provides a panoramic view of many mountain peaks over 14,000 ft. elevation in the High Sierra.
Fourth Day explores off-road to Mono Lake to view the rare Tufa Tower rock formations. These rare and bizarre-looking Tufa rock formations formed within Mono Lake from underwater springs rich in calcium and the mix of carbonates in the lake. You will also travel over the wild and scenic Tioga Pass in Yosemite which is the highest mountain pass in the Sierra Nevada and known as one of the most scenic paved mountain roads in the United States of America.
